Find out which place Shah Rukh Khan dreamed of visiting with his father
Actor Shah Rukh Khan once shared that he never visited Kashmir because his late father had asked him not to go there without him.
It was 1982. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan battled for his life after he was grievously injured while shooting an action scene in Manmohan Desai's Coolie. A pall of gloom fell on all and the entire nation fervently prayed and fasted for him.
Several years have passed, but the memories of those traumatising days still haunt the Bachchan family. It was a shocking and difficult time not only for the family but also for the industry as it was a fatal accident and the nation almost lost him.

Remembering those trying times, Abhishek Bachchan posted an emotional message for his father along with a picture which dates back to the time when Amitabh was hospitalised in Mumbai, then Bombay.

"Throwback Thursday. Taken in the mid 80's ( 1985 if memory serves). I call it Big B and the Bachchan bunch. Dad was hospitalised with Myasthenia Gravis and my sister, cousins and I had gone to visit him. Being too young to understand what all was going on, our parents always made it out to be like an outing so that we would not be disturbed by the hospital and its workings."
Abhishek continued… the innocence of childhood.
"When I used to visit my father after his accident on the sets of Coolie in 1982, seeing him connected to many drips and machines, he used to tell me they were kites that he had got for me. I was six years old. My father was fighting for his life and all I thought about was, why isn't he allowing me to play with these kites? The innocence of childhood I guess." Abhishek wrote on Instagram.
