Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon are currently busy in promoting their upcoming sci-fi romantic  drama film ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ (TBMAUJ). Recently, the makers unveiled the film’s official trailer, receiving a massive response from the audience.

In the film, Shahid portrays a robotics engineer who develops feelings and eventually marries Kriti’s character, Sifra, an AI (Artificial Intelligence) female robot. The movie delves into an improbable love story set in the uncharted territories of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Following the trailer release, netizens shared their reactions, with some users drawing comparisons between the film’s concept and actor Ridhima Pandit’s popular TV show ‘Bahu Hamari Rajnikant.’ In the TV show, Pandit played the role of a humanoid robot.

Netizens have been drawing parallels between Kriti’s character in ‘TBMAUJ’ and Pandit’s well-received character in the TV show, ‘Bahu Hamari Rajnikant’.

During a press conference for the film in New Delhi on Thursday, Shahid addressed the comparisons with the TV show. He stated, “Several films have been made on robots like Chitti Robot (Rajanikant’s ‘Robot’) and ‘Ra.One’ is also there. So that is a good thing kyunki thodi familiarity hona acha hota hai kyunki viral audience ko shayad samajh hi ni aaye ki aap kya kr rhe ho… (because we need some familiarity because the viral audience probably won’t understand what you are doing). But because it (Ridhima Pandit’s TV show) is already here, we thought to take it one step further and make it more complicated.”

Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah wrote and directed the film ‘Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.’ Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar have produced it. The movie also features legendary actors Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles.

Recently, the makers unveiled the film’s official trailer and three tracks – ‘Laal Peeli Akhiyaan,’ ‘Akhiyaan Gulaab,’ and the title track of the film – all of which received positive responses from the audience.

‘Teri Baaton Mein Aise Uljha Jiya’ is ready to release on February 9. (ANI)
