The screening of ‘The Sabarmati Report’ brought together several prominent leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and other Members of Parliament. The cast, including lead actor Vikrant Massey, joined them in what Dogra called “an auditorium of immense significance.”

Recounting her emotions, Dogra revealed she was overwhelmed from the very start. “I started crying during the national anthem. Watching the film in Parliament, with the Prime Minister, felt like a dream come true. It was something I never thought possible. Who imagines watching a movie with the Prime Minister? It was an unexpected blessing,” she said.

‘The Sabarmati Report’, starring Vikrant Massey, revisits the tragic events of February 27, 2002, when the S-6 coach of the Sabarmati Express was set ablaze near Godhra station in Gujarat. The incident marked a significant chapter in India’s history, and the film aims to shed light on the tragedy and its aftermath.

The movie, released on November 15, 2024, has been declared tax-free in multiple states, including Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. It has also received widespread praise from political leaders, including BJP MP and actress Hema Malini.

For Massey, attending the screening alongside PM Modi was a career-defining moment. “It was the highest point of my journey,” he said.

Dogra echoed the sentiment, calling the experience a “once-in-a-lifetime event” that she would always cherish.
