Ranveer Singh, who is basking in the success of his recently released film, Simmba, unveiled the first poster of his next venture. The actor will be next starring in Gully Boy, which would bring forth the story of street rappers.
On the first day of the New Year, the Padmaavat actor shared the poster of the film on Twitter. “Apna Time Aayega!” the caption read.

Earlier, a few pictures of Ranveer Singh surfaced on social media wherein the actor could be seen totally dunked in the character.
The actor has earlier termed Gully Boy a “great underdog story”.
“They find their inspiration through music and art. The music that is socially relevant. So, it was important for me to also give a platform to all this new talent,” he told IANS.
The film, a musical drama, is loosely inspired by the life of rapper Divine and Naezy. Gully Boy, about street rappers from Mumbai, is so far among three productions that have been invited to participate in the Berlinale Special.
The Zoya Akhtar directorial will mark the first collaboration of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt on the silver screen.
Gully Boy is slated to release on February 14, 2019.
