Rajkumar Hirani’s much-awaited film Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role is rocking at the box office. The film crossed the Rs 100-crore mark in just three days.
On Monday, the first working day after the opening weekend, Sanju collected Rs 25.35 crore more, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Sanju has earned Rs 145.41 crore in four days and is inching closer to the Rs 150-crore mark.

Taran Adarsh took to his Instagram handle and shared this post: “Non-holiday / working day… Reduced ticket rates on weekdays… Yet, #Sanju puts up a SPLENDID TOTAL on Day 4 [Mon]… This one is NOT going to slow down soon… Fri 34.75 cr, Sat 38.60 cr, Sun 46.71 cr, Mon 25.35 cr. Total: ₹ 145.41 cr. India biz.”
This is Ranbir Kapoor’s fourth film to enter the Rs 100-crore club, after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Barfi.
Sanju gives a much-needed push to Ranbir’s career as the actor’s success ratio at the box office is not very impressive.
Along with Ranbir Kapoor, other actors in pivotal roles in Sanju are Paresh Rawal, Dia Mirza, Anushka Sharma, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor. Sanju is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and was released worldwide on June 29, 2018.
