Initially dismissing it as a jest, Zinta soon realized Ratnam’s seriousness behind the request. With a smile on her face, she recounted the moment, “But sir… my make up will come off,” she quipped, only to be met with Ratnam’s resolute response, “That’s exactly what I want… Pls wash your face.”

Amused yet compliant, Zinta obliged, thanks to the support of Santosh Sivan, the Director of Photography. “So thanks to the amazing Santosh Sivan, I filmed with a freshly washed face and got away with it,” she fondly recalled in her caption.

Zinta’s portrayal of the character Preeti Nair in ‘Dil Se’ earned her widespread acclaim, setting the stage for her illustrious career in Bollywood. Her endearing performance resonated with audiences, garnering her numerous accolades, including prestigious Filmfare Awards.
