Kriti Sanon on nepotism: ‘It’s not just the industry’s fault’

Nupur Sanon, the younger sister of Sushant Singh Rajput’s Raabta co-star and close friend Kriti Sanon, meanwhile, remembered the late actor with an emotional Instagram post.
Sushant Singh Rajput left everyone on Sunday for his heavenly abode. He was cremated at Pawan Hans crematorium in suburban Vile Parle around 5 pm on Monday amidst the novel Coronavirus scare. Sushant’s body was found hanging in his room, at his duplex apartment on Sunday morning and the postmortem report said his death was due to asphyxiation by hanging.
Bollywood and social media reacted with shock and disbelief on hearing the news of the death of Sushant, who was also noted for his philanthropic services. Nupur Sanon, the younger sister of Sushant Singh Rajput’s Raabta co-star and close friend Kriti Sanon, meanwhile, remembered the late actor with an emotional Instagram post.
Nupur shared a picture of herself along with Sushant and alongside quoted the lyrics of the song Yaadein, “Nagme hai, shikwe hai, kisse hai, baatein hai (sic).”

She also shared another Instagram post hitting out at those shaming her for not putting out a post earlier.
Nupur said that the news of Sushant’s death has triggered a conversation on mental health, but at the same time, there is a section of people “harassing” the grieving for not sharing tributes on Instagram. She slammed the trolls for their ‘disgusting tweets, messages and comments’.
She wrote, ““Everybody has suddenly started talking about mental health on social media since yesterday…and then we have people harassing people who are actually in a state of shock,who are hurt,who are grieving ..by sending them disgusting tweets, msgs, comments for not posting on lnstagram !! ‘You are so heartless’ ‘ek post tak nahi daala’ ‘Tum logo ne ek reaction nahi diya kitne pathar dil ho tum’ These are the comments and msgs we are constantly getting !! Aap ki permission ho toh sukoon se ro sakte hain?? Please?? (sic).”

The down-to-earth actor initially began his career with TV shows including Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and Pavitra Rishta. The actor then got his breakthrough in Bollywood with the movie Kai Po Che.
However, his popularity reached its heights when he was roped in for the biopic MS Dhoni: The Untold Story in which he played the role of the popular Indian skipper. Sushant’s last performance was in Dil Bechara which is yet to be released.
