Actor Manoj Bajpayee’s ‘The Fable,’ directed by Raam Reddy, is set for its world premiere at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival in the Encounters Competition.
The eagerly awaited ‘The Fable,’ featuring actor Manoj Bajpayee and directed by Raam Reddy, is ready to make its debut in one of the Berlinale’s key competitive sections.
The Berlin International Film Festival has disclosed that ‘The Fable’ will have its world premiere in the 74th Encounters Competition, marking only the second Indian film in the last 30 years to premiere in such a significant section at the Berlinale.

Expressing his excitement, Manoj Bajpayee shared, “Joining the cast of ‘The Fable’ has been an extraordinary experience. Collaborating with the creative mind of Raam Reddy and participating in an A-festival, supported by an international production house for the first time, has been incredibly inspiring. The film’s presence at Berlinale underscores the global reach and artistic prowess of Indian storytelling.”

Raam Reddy, the film’s writer and director, described ‘The Fable’ not just as a film but as “an unadulterated piece of my soul.”
“I feel fortunate for many things: collaborating with Manojji’s brilliance and such a wonderful cast, premiering in a competitive section of Berlinale, and having global backing for the film. But most importantly, for the opportunity to tell this story exactly as I envisioned.”
The film is produced by veteran producer Sunmim Park and features a stellar cast including Deepak Dobriyal, Priyanka Bose, Tillotama Shome, debutant Hiral Sidhu, and child actor Awan Pookot.
The 74th Berlinale will run from February 15 to February 24. (ANI)
