Kartik Aaryan and director Kabir Khan were spotted at BKC, attending the ‘Chandu Champion’ wrap-up party in Mumbai on February 1.
The actor, who underwent a significant physical transformation for his role, recently shared a video showing him indulging in his favorite sweet after the challenging 8-month shoot.

Kartik posted the wrap-up party video on Instagram, capturing Kabir Khan playfully feeding him a spoonful of Rasmalai to conclude the shoot on a sweet note.
Sharing the video, he expressed, “This RasMalai Tasted Like Victory! Finally eating sugar after a year! After more than a year of intense preparation and 8 months of day-and-night shoots across the globe, today we complete the shooting journey of #ChanduChampion. Kartik underwent an incredible transformation to embody his character in ‘Chandu Champion’.
On Republic Day, Kartik shared a new-looking poster, stating, “Being a Champion is in every Indian’s blood… Jai Hind. Happy Republic Day #ChanduChampion.” The actor donned a uniform and cap in the picture.
Directed by Kabir Khan, ‘Chandu Champion’ narrates the extraordinary real-life story of a sportsman and his unwavering spirit. Kartik portrays the character of Chandu, and the film, scheduled for release on June 14, marks his first collaboration with director Kabir Khan.
On his birthday, Kartik also announced a new project with Karan Johar, an untitled film directed by Sandeep Modi, slated for release on August 15, 2025. The film is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Ektaa Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms Ltd.
Taking to Instagram, Kartik expressed, “An unforgettable chapter of our glorious Indian history full of valor and sacrifice is now going to be part of my life, a subject close to my heart… super proud and excited to embark on a new journey with the extremely talented @sandeep_modi and the powerhouse #karanjohar and @EktaaRKapoor.”
Apart from ‘Chandu Champion’, Kartik will be seen in director Hansal Mehta’s ‘Captain India’, director Anurag Basu’s ‘Aashiqui 3’, and the horror comedy film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’.
