Kangana further elaborated on Indira Gandhi’s privileged background, pointing out that Gandhi’s position as a three-time Prime Minister and her access to powerful ministries were clear advantages.

Despite this, Kangana insists that her portrayal of Gandhi in ‘Emergency’ is both sensitive and dignified, as she took great care to avoid sensationalizing the more controversial aspects of Gandhi’s personal life.
