On the professional front, Shroff is gearing up for the release of the much-anticipated crime series ‘Chidiya Udd’. Slated to premiere on Amazon MX Player on January 15, the series is based on Aabid Surti’s gripping novel ‘Cages’.
The story follows Seher, a young woman from Rajasthan who finds herself entangled in Mumbai’s underworld. As she struggles to escape the clutches of crime and power, the narrative unfolds with intense drama and suspense.
Directed by Ravi Jadhav, ‘Chidiya Udd’ is produced by Harman Baweja and Vicky Bahri. Alongside Jackie Shroff, who plays Qadir Khan, the series boasts an impressive cast, including Bhoomika Meena, Sikandar Kher, Madhur Mittal, Mayur More, and Mita Vashisht. The recently released trailer has already created a buzz, leaving fans eager for its debut.
But that’s not all! Jackie Shroff is also ready to reprise his role in the comedy franchise ‘Housefull 5’. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film features a star-studded lineup, including Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, and Riteish Deshmukh.
