Sunaina said her journey was full of struggle and her family had been a great motivation. Sunaina fought with cervical cancer in 2014 and said: “she wants to be an inspiration to the world and want to share her experience through platforms like TEDTalks”.

In an interview session with Mumbai Mirror, she said, “I want to inspire people across the globe. If the blog is a success, maybe, I’ll think of a book and go on a show like Ted Talks. I want to tell people that I am a survivor and not a victim.”

Sunaina considers her brother Hrithik Roshan as her role model. In 2014, Hrithik suffered a massive brain injury during the shooting of film Bang Bang and has recovered since.
Hrithik shared the transformation picture of his sister on his social media handle and captioned it as “Now that’s what I call transformation. So proud of you Di.”

She also said, “I’ve started Zumba which I really enjoy and I walk for an hour every day. I’d love to lose a couple of more kilos and tone up a bit. But that will happen soon.”
