Wamiqa Gabbi in talks to join Ranveer Singh in superhero film
Reports suggest that Wamiqa Gabbi is the top contender for the role of the female lead in Ranveer Singh’s ‘Shaktimaan’-inspired film.
Ranveer Singh has suffered a labral tear on his left shoulder during one of his football matches. Ever since the news broke the internet, Ranveer is flooded with wishes from fans wishing him a speedy recovery.
He recently received his best ‘get well soon’ wishes from his Gully Boy co-star Alia Bhatt. The two actors share an amazing chemistry. They both have given each other nicknames.

As Alia took to her Twitter handle to wish his co-star best wishes for recovery, she addressed Ranveer as ‘tutu’ and wrote, “Wishing you a speedy recovery tutu.” To this, Ranveer Singh replied, “Thanks, lulu.”

On Tuesday, Ranveer updated about his health conditions on Twitter and wrote, “Thank you for the good wishes everyone. I’m good. It’s just a labral tear in my left shoulder. I intend to come back stronger. Love you all.”

Ranveer Singh’s spokesperson said, “After multiple medical checkups, the doctors have strongly advised Ranveer Singh not to perform at this year’s IPL opening ceremony in which he was doing the grand finale act. They feel his high-energy performance would only overstrain his shoulder and aggravate the injury.”
Ranveer Singh, who was to perform at the opening ceremony of the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season, is learned to have backed out because of his shoulder injury which is kickstarting this week.
On the work front, Ranveer is busy shooting for Gully Boy opposite Alia Bhatt. The film is slated to release in February 2019. Rohit Shetty’s Simmba opposite Sara Ali Khan is also lined up.
On the other hand, Alia has Gully Boy and Raazi in her kitty.
