“I am the best kisser,” quipped Emraan Hashmi at the trailer launch of ‘Showtime’ in Mumbai. During the lively event, Emraan, in conversation with producer Karan Johar, playfully addressed his “serial kisser” reputation.
When Karan asked which rumor about him he’d like to dispel, Emraan responded with a humorous twist, declaring, “That I’m a good kisser. I’m not just good, I’m the best.”

Emraan’s cheeky remark elicited laughter from the audience, reminiscing about his early Bollywood days in films like Murder and Aashiq Banaya Aapne, which earned him the moniker ‘serial kisser.’

‘Showtime’ promises to unravel an “epic saga of legacy and ambition in the world of cinema,” shedding light on the intricacies of Bollywood, including nepotism and power struggles at the helm.
Apart from Emraan Hashmi, the series features Naseeruddin Shah, Mahima Makwana, Rajeev Khandelwal, and Shriya Saran, with Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, and Mihir Desai serving as executive producers.
Karan Johar shared the trailer of ‘Showtime’ on his Instagram, offering a glimpse into Emraan’s role as a formidable film producer and the discourse on nepotism depicted by Mahima Makwana’s character.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the project, Emraan stated, “Having experienced the industry’s highs and lows, I resonated with ‘Showtime’ instantly and eagerly embraced the opportunity to be a part of it.”
He acknowledged the audience’s curiosity about Bollywood’s inner workings, affirming, “We’ve heard you! Prepare to delve into the behind-the-scenes narratives of Bollywood!”
