Anil Kapoor gave his fans a special gift on his 62nd birthday. On the occasion, the team of his forthcoming film, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, released a new poster.

The poster showcases the purest bond between a father and daughter, played respectively by Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. This film is the first collaborative project of Anil and Sonam together.

Anil Kapoor also took to Twitter to release the first look.

Giving an insight into the film, Sonam Kapoor also shared a picture on her father’s birthday where she wrote a heartfelt note for him on her official Instagram handle.

“Happy happy birthday Dad… this has been a momentous year for both of us. For the first time in 10 years of being in this industry I shared a frame with you and was your costar.. And you also had to see me get married.. all this was a complete roller coaster… hard and beautiful at the same time.. I’m thankful for the teachings of love, progressive ideals and morals that have been a part of my upbringing , and each year I realise more and more what a gift that is in this day and age.. love you so much…”.

For the first time, the real-life father-daughter would be coming on screen together. The film also stars Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla in pivotal roles.

The trailer of the Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga will be out soon on 27 December 2018.

The film is produced and presented by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, associated with Fox Star Studios and directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar. It is set to release early this year on 1 February 2018.
