Alia Bhatt expresses her excitement for Varun Dhawan's role in the action-packed film 'Baby John' after watching the teaser, praising the entire cast.
Alia Bhatt’s Raazi is all set to emerge as the third highest grossing film of 2018 (excluding Hollywood films) behind Padmaavat and Baaghi 2.
Raazi has been winning hearts across the globe and has proved that why content is the king in the modern era of cinema by performing exceptionally well in both domestic and overseas market.

In doing so, Raazi will dethrone Luv Ranjan’s SKTKS from the third place which is a little over Rs 108.50 crore. This will be the first time in almost three years that a heroine centric film has crossed Rs 100 crore. The last being Kangana Ranaut’s Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
Despite the intense competition from multiple releases both Hollywood and Bollywood the film has performed exceptionally well and managed to maintain its stronghold.
Owing to its strong word of mouth from fans and critics, Raazi has undeniably emerged as the biggest success story of 2018 so far.
As far as box office records go Raazi’s peak position in the list of highest grossing films of 2018 will be restricted to third as surpassing the lifetime collections of Padmaavat and Baaghi 2 is out of the equation.
Nonetheless, Raazi has raised the bar for all films and has proved its worth at the box office by surpassing the lifetime collections of some of Bollywood’s biggies of 2018 like Aiyaary, Pad Man, Raid, Pari and October.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Raazi is based on the bestselling novel Calling Sehmat, and was released worldwide on May 11.
