Karan Johar calls 1,000 cr deal with Adar Poonawalla ‘traumatizing’
Karan Johar sells a 50% stake in Dharma Productions to Adar Poonawalla’s Serene Productions for ₹1,000 crore, sharing his experience of the deal.
After giving a massive hit at the box office with Gold, Akshay Kumar is back with Kesari in which he is going to display the courage of Sikhs who bravely fought the Battle of Saragarhi, Circa 1897.
Akshay shared the first poster on the anniversary of Saragarhi battle which he took to his social media handles. In the photo, Akshay can be seen with a band of men dressed in Army uniforms. He captioned the photo, “On #SaragarhiDay, here’s the first look of #KESARI – our humble tribute to the martyrs of Saragarhi! “Aaj meri pagdi bhi Kesari…Jo bahega mera woh lahu bhi Kesari… Aur mera jawaab bhi Kesari.”

The film is based on the Battle of Saragarhi in which 21 Sikhs fought valiantly 10,000 Afghans in 1897.

A few months ago, Akshay had shared a picture in which he was seen wearing a massive turban. He captioned the photo, “Feeling nothing but immense pride and gratitude while sharing this. Beginning my 2018 with #KESARI, my most ambitious film and a lot of passion. Need your best wishes as always.”

The film stars Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra as the leading actors. The film will be produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Reliance Entertainment. It is scheduled to release on 15 August 2019.
