The cast and crew of Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Aiyaary’ visited the BSF camp in Jaisalmer and spent three days at the training camp, as well as surveillance post at the border.
While the training camp was situated within the city of Jaisalmer, the border with the neighboring country was almost two hours away from the city.

The physical training included long jump, jumping over 6 feet wall, rope climbing. Sidharth Malhotra also practiced carrying an injured soldier on the shoulder which was monitored by mentor Manoj Bajpayee.
After several rounds of drills, along with the girls, they learnt the maintenance of guns. How they are taken care of, how to use them.
Filmmaker Neeraj Pandey along with Manoj Bajpayee, Sidharth Malhotra, Rakul Preet Singh and Pooja Chopra visited all departments, surveillance areas and learnt how a jawan conducts himself, his duties and protects the border.
Surveillance at the border was something that each and every member was extremely impressed with. The entire team met with and gave encouragement for the kind of work/efforts BSF puts in protecting the borders. A lot of understanding and practice was given to both Sidharth and Manoj.
Not only they learnt about BSF jawans daily lives, duties at the border even spent time seeing everything happening. It was a sureal experience to see borders so up and close.
