Somy Ali opens up about Deepika Padukone facing mockery over depression
Actress and activist Somy Ali has recently opened up about the challenges Deepika Padukone faced during her battle with depression.
Vishal Bhardwaj’s next featuring Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan which was supposed to go on floors in March in Nepal has been pushed by a few months.
Vishal Bharadwaj took to his social media account to state that the film has been pushed by a few months. He posted, “Pushing back film by a few months, @irrfank down with jaundice and @deepikapadukone with resurfaced back issue caused during Padmaavat. While prepping, was transported to Maqbool days. Stunning look tests can’t wait to start the shoot. Sending pyaar & duaaen to my Ustara and Afshan.”

Deepika on Wednesday was seen at the airport with a medical bandage on her neck. She got injured during the shooting for Padmaavat. Irrfan was in Chandigarh for film’s shooting, but now he will be staying back in Mumbai for his treatment.
The film is a biopic and is based on the life of mafia queen Rahima Khan aka Sapna Didi, which is adapted from Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai.
Irrfan-Deepika starter will be bankrolled by T Series, Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures, and KriArj Entertainment.
