Bollywood’s ideology of a film’s success rate is the number of tickets sold at the ticket counter, which ultimately leads to the box office numbers of the film. Over the years, we have seen films making history at the box office and raising the bar higher for films to follow up.
It was earlier the Rs 100 crore club that was for the elite group. It was rare that a movie would cross that magic mark. But we soon moved on to Rs 200 crore club, and in no time to the Rs 300 crore club, which is now the official tag for a blockbuster status.
