As India commemorates the 100th anniversary of Jallianwala massacre that killed hundreds of innocent people in Amritsar on April 13, 1919, members of the film industry paid tributes to the martyrs.
A century ago, British forces led by Brigadier General Reginald Dyer opened fire on hundred of unarmed people who were protesting peacefully against the oppressive Rowlatt Act,1919, at Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar. It was the Baisakhi, and some people had assembled there with family members to celebrate the day.
