Bigg Boss 13 contestants and the environment inside the house got quite aggressive in Wednesday’s episode. The contestants woke up to the song, “Main Nagin”. As the house is clearly divided into two teams, Sidharth Shukla and his group discuss the opponent team’s strategy and Shukla mentions that Paras and his team are together only for selfish motives and there is no genuine connection between them.

Shehnaaz then tries to lighten up the mood by applying lipstick to Shukla’s face.

Bigg Boss then announces the new task which would enable a nominated contestant to replace a safe contestant on the show, if he or she won the task. The task was a twisted version of the snake and ladder game. The safe contestants (Asim and Arti) were turned into snakes and the nominated ones were supposed to climb ladders to reach safety from nominations.

Each contestant is given a plank of wood symbolising the ladder with their face on it. Asim and Aarti get a plank with a snake’s body on it. A board numbering till 50 is placed on the centre court. Once the buzzer rings, housemates have to start building a ladder on the outline they’ve been given, with clay.

Once the dice roll sound is heard, the contestant whose ladder is tallest gets a chance to roll the dice and move their pawn ahead on the board. The contestant whose pawn reaches closest to the 50th block gets a chance to swap his position with a safe contestant and thus secure their place for the mid-season finale.

Discussing their strategy for the task, Sidharth Shukla and Arti Singh get into a minor argument; while Arti is upset that Shukla never listened to her, he was angry that Arti has been throwing attitude around him after she was saved from the nominations.

Sidharth Shukla is seemed to have kickstarted the violence in the task after he began overturning the tables and boxes around in reaction to Paras destroying the ladders. Paras tried to convince Sidharth not to get violent but he reacted even more aggressively. Paras then quits the task midway, citing violence as the reason.

Shukla also gets into a tussle with Mahira who pushed him to protect her ladder. Soon, everyone begins fighting with Shukla, accusing him of getting physical. However, Shukla insisted it was Mahira who pushed him first.

The game takes an ugly turn and Aarti, who is the sanchalak of the game, is accused of being unfair.

Sidharth and Rashami too, engage in conflict as he tries to overturn Rashami’s plank. Devoleena breaks down as Sidharth targets her. Soon, an innocent Devoleena becomes a fearless warrior. She slaps Shehnaaz and Arti Singh creates a ruckus that Devoleena has attacked Shehnaaz.

After a lot of drama and chaos, Bigg Boss announces that the task be halted till further orders.
