Manoj Bajpayee talks about shocking bold scene in ‘Despatch’
Manoj Bajpayee stars in the gripping crime thriller 'Despatch', exploring media corruption and a dangerous investigation, streaming on ZEE5 from December 13.
Bhumi Pednekar and Sushant Singh Rajput’s upcoming film Son Chiriya’s shooting has been wrapped up. It’s their first film together. The film also has Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role.
As the shooting of the film is wrapped up, we got hands-on Bhumi Pednekar’s first look. She took her first look to her Instagram handle and shared a photo captioned: “Sonchiriya As we wrap up this unforgettable journey, sharing a bit of me from this very special film.”

In the picture, Bhumi is seen wearing a purple sari with a printed blouse and carries a gun as she is playing a dacoit in the film.
The story is about dacoits of the Chambal and is inspired by the various myths and stories associated with Chambal.
She shared another picture with the entire cast and crew in which she thanked her director Chaubey for the film.
A few months back, Sushant Singh’s look from the film as a decoit was also shared on Twitter. Sushant too wore an intense look and carried a rifle in the picture.

Bhumi’s character will speak in the native Bundelkhandi language and to get her character pitch perfect, she learned the local dialect for about two months.
Son Chiriya is slated to release next year.
