BAFTA TV Awards 2024: ‘The Crown’ and ‘Black Mirror’ miss out big time

Fox Searchlight’s crime drama Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri walked away with the ‘Best Film’ prize and five wins overall at the BAFTA Awards on Sunday at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri swept five trophies, including Best Film, Best British Film and the Best Actress to Frances McDormand.

Gary Oldman’s Darkest Hour won two awards, including the Best Actor prize to Gary Oldman for his performance as Winston Churchill in the film. The Shape of Water took three trophies, including Best Director for Guillermo Del Toro.
