During an interaction with DNA, Ayushmann was asked about Tanushree and Nana and he said, “I think people who are trolling her should be blocked and banned from Twitter. They should show some empathy. At the same time, an equal opportunity should be given to both the sides to justify themselves.”

He added: “It doesn’t matter whether she’s taken the time or not. Whatever was wrong was wrong and there’s no time limit to it. Whether you want to come out in the open, it’s your prerogative. Let’s just be fair to both the sides, that’s more important.”
Meanwhile, Freida Pinto took to her Instagram handle to show support to Tanushree Dutta. She put up a picture which reads: “I believe Tanushree Dutta.”
She wrote a long caption, which reads: “Today, I interrupt my feed for a bit from all the fashion week poses to stand by what I truly Believe. I Believe Tanushree Dutta!” She further appreciated the courage of the actress and said, “I add my voice to the other voices coming out in support of Tanushree’s bravery because God knows this is not going to be easy for you, Tanushree. But what you have done is monumental and important and it has to shake the very core of a nation and an ideology that for too long has gotten away with heinous crimes against women and where the ugliness of misogyny has dominated the rights and suppressed any voice that has dared to speak up.”
Nana Patekar is learnt to have sent a legal notice to Tanushree. The actress has however said she has not got any legal notice from the actor’s lawyer, adding that she is not afraid of it either.
Actor Nana Patekar, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming movie ‘Vanvaas’, recently graced the quiz based reality television show, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 16', hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.
Tahira Kashyap recently expressed her gratitude to her husband and actor Ayushmann Khurrana for loving her father "equally" and making his 70th birthday a memorable affair.
