Bollywood celebrities have been posting prayers and wishing for her speedy recovery. Veteran actor Anupam Kher was recently in New York where he met Sonali Bendre and wrote an emotional post for her.

He took to his social media handle and shared Sonali’s picture, which she had posted after chopping off her hair. With the picture, he wrote: “I have done few films with @iamsonalibendre. We’ve met socially many times in Mumbai. She always has been bright & a very warm person. But it is only in the last 15days that I got the opportunity to spend some quality time with her in NY. And I can easily say, “She is my HERO.”

Sonali has been updating well-wishers about her health through social media. Recently, she shared a heart-warming post to wish her son Ranveer on his 13th birthday.
