Rahul Mishra drew inspiration from the insect kingdom for his collection “Superheroes,” focusing on species on the brink of extinction. Reflecting on his designs, Mishra expressed, “Beyond my own comfort zone, I look back once more at those who’ve been here before me. I seek to not just appreciate the beauty or vividness of the insect kingdom but also challenge our conditioning/education towards how we treat insects and the emotions stemming from a primal notion of fear.”
