Amitabh Bachchan’s next project, a Hindi-Tamil bilingual film that marked his first film in the regional language, now has a title.

Tera Yaar Hoon Main will also star South actors SJ Suryah and Baahubali fame actor Ramya Krishnan. The title is inspired from the eponymous song from the Luv Ranjan film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Director T Tamilvanan shared how the title of the film was decided. “When the title was suggested to us, we all agreed that it was apt for our film that revolves around a cosmic connection that brings two strangers together and their resultant equation.”

The director also added that when he approached Suryah, he had informed him that he was hoping Senior Bachchan would agree as well. “Amitji is a superstar, it’s difficult to get a nod from him, but I was confident about my script. I narrated it to him, he loved it immediately agreed to be a part of the film,” he said.

Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen doing some dialogue in Tamil. The veteran actor has been working on his language skills to perfect the role.

Abhishek Bachchan had visited the set of the film on Saturday. The father and son were seen sitting on a stack of chairs. Amitabh Bachchan also had shared the photo on social media that said: “When he not just starts wearing your shoes, but also uses the same number of chairs to sit on, he does not just be a son, but the dearest friend.”
