From taking the Bollywood to new heights to making a remarkable international presence, the 75-year-old veteran actor from Allahabad has been awarded the Awadh Samman Award by the Government of Uttar Pradesh as well as the prestigious Yash Bharti Award, the highest honour awarded by the state.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui
After having a late start in Bollywood, the actor from Budhana, a small villlage in Uttar Pradesh, has made it big in Bollywood. He was felicitated with the Yash Bharati award in 2015 for his performances and contribution to the state. He has inspired many for not only playing unconventional roles.
Pankaj Tripathi
Apart from being a recipient of the National Award, the Masaan actor has been awarded the prestigious Bihar Samman award, the highest honour given by the Bihar government. he is the only person till date to be chosen for the award twice.
Kangana Ranaut
Ever since Kangana Ranaut made her debut in Bollywood, she has been promoting Himachal Pradesh, her home state. She was felicitated with the state award in 2015 on Himachal Day.
