Dharmendra reveals he recommended Amitabh Bachchan for ‘Sholay’
According to reports, the role of Jai was originally meant for Shatrughan Sinha, but Dharmendra’s recommendation changed the course of casting—and possibly, Hindi cinema history.
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan got some major concern and decided to share it on Twitter. Big B is one of the most widely followed Indian celebrities on Twitter but the ‘constant’ followers are really bothering the actor. He has questioned Twitter’s management about how they manage to keep the number of followers constant.

On Thursday, Amitabh Bachchan posted, “Dear Twitter Management, it’s quite amazing how you manage to keep numbers of followers constant and not moving at all despite maximum activity??? Well done! I mean how do you keep the scoreboard from not moving despite every ball being hit for a 6!”

The Pink actor’s official and verified Twitter handle @SrBachchan has 34.3 million followers.
Earlier, the actor had even threatened to quit the micro-blogging site, accusing it of reducing his followers. The tweet read, “TWITTER ..!!!?? you reduced my number of followers .. !!??HAHAHAHAHAHAHA .. !! that’s a joke .. time to get off from you .. thank you for the ride..there are many ‘other’ fish in the sea – and a lot more exciting !!”
