Alia Bhatt recently marked the first anniversary of her Hollywood debut, “Heart of Stone,” with a nostalgic Instagram post. On Sunday, Alia shared behind-the-scenes snapshots from the film, featuring herself alongside co-star Gal Gadot. “Some hearty memories from the sets of Heart of Stone. Can’t believe it’s been a whole year!!!! #1YearOfHeartOfStone @galgadot @jamiedornan,” she wrote.

“Heart of Stone,” directed by Tom Harper, stars Gadot as Rachel Stone, a top spy secretly working for the Charter—a clandestine organization that uses cutting-edge technology to safeguard global security. Alia Bhatt played Keya Dhawan, a hacker whose actions put Gal Gadot aka Stone’s dual life at risk. The film explores the clash between Stone’s professional facade and her personal challenges, highlighting her struggle to balance duty with her humanity.

The movie, which also stars Jamie Dornan, was first showcased at the Tudum 2023 event in Brazil. As the film celebrates its one-year milestone, Bhatt is busy with new projects. Her upcoming film, “Jigra,” has had its release date shifted from September 27, 2024, to October 11, 2024. Alia took to Instagram to announce the new date, excitedly inviting fans to the theater: “11.10.2024 | JIGRA | See you at the movies.”

In addition to “Jigra,” Bhatt is set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Love & War” alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. She is also involved in “Alpha,” directed by Shiv Rawail, which features her as a super agent. This film signifies a notable shift from traditional male-centered action roles to featuring strong female leads, further showcasing Bhatt’s expanding presence in diverse roles.
