Maharashtra Assembly elections are underway across 288 constituencies, with over 4,000 candidates contesting. Key battles include the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance versus the Congress-led MVA.
The trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer Kesari, which is a war film based on the Battle of Saragarhi, is out now. The film helmed by Anurag Singh would bring the story of courage and patriotism to the silver screen.
The recently released trailer of the film shows Akshay donning a huge turban and tackling the Afghan army with unmatched grit. The three-minute trailer gave a glimpse of the tale of the Sikh soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
Though the film has all the ingredients to instill a sense of national pride, the Kesari trailer, however, has made people busy churning out hilarious memes on Twitter.

In the film, Akshay will be seen essaying the role of Havildar Ishar Singh, the military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers who fought thousands of Afghani tribesmen.
Kesari will star Parineeti Chopra opposite Akshay Kumar. The film will be produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Reliance Entertainment. It is scheduled to release on 21 March 2019.
