Anees Bazmee on Akshay Kumar’s return in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4’
Filmmaker Anees Bazmee opens up on the possibility of Akshay Kumar joining Kartik Aaryan in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4.'
Akshay Kumar seems to be losing out on good sequels this year. This time the news of him being replaced in the sequel of Singh is Kinng is doing the rounds.
According to the reports, producer Shailender Singh has acquired rights for the sequel of this 2008 release, and is keen to get Ranveer Singh on board.

While talking to a leading daily, Shailender Singh said, “While we had initially wanted the title Singh Is Kinng, Vipul Shah refused to part with it. I have been asking him to return it to me for the last five years. Then, I decided to pick another name, because, the name Singh Is Bliing had also been explored. So, a similar sounding title would cause confusion.”

Although, it has been reported that he did not name Ranveer directly as his choice for the film, he gave hints of getting him to sign on the dotted line. Ranveer being quirky might have been one reason behind him getting the role.
Akshay Kumar, who was first seen wearing a turban in Singh is Kinng was again seen donning similar avatar in Singh is Bliing, impressing his fans to a great extent. It will be a big change for the fans to see Ranveer get into those shoes. However, it will also be interesting to see the latter rib tickle the audience as a turban clad sardar.
Apart from this, Akshay Kumar’s role is 2007 hit film Namastey London has also slipped out his hands into Arjun Kapoor’s lap.
Akshay has his hands full as the Khiladi actor is currently filming Padman and Gold, while the anticipated film 2.0 is in the post production process and Kesari in pipeline.
