Akshay Kumar votes early in Maharashtra assembly polls
Maharashtra Assembly elections are underway across 288 constituencies, with over 4,000 candidates contesting. Key battles include the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance versus the Congress-led MVA.
Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 is one of the most awaited films of 2018. The superstars of the film industry are going to seen together for the first time. But it seems we have to wait longer to watch them on screen.
2.0 was originally supposed to hit the screens in December 2017. To provide more time for the post-production, the date was scheduled to 25 January. Later, the release of the film was postponed to 14 April 2018. But now the date has again been pushed further.
This Akshay and Rajnikanth starrer is Asia’s most expensive film till date.

Today, trade expert Ramesh Bala took to Twitter to announce the rescheduling of the film’s release. He wrote, “@superstarrajini – @akshaykumar ‘s #2Point0 release will not happen in April. The release is most likely to be postponed by 2 to 3 months.”

Speaking about the reason for the delay in its release date, Rajinikanth had earlier said, “Since there is some more CG (computer graphics) work that needs to be done, it is getting delayed. We have shifted the release to April.”
Well, there may be chances that the film has been postponed further due to a post-production delay.
On the professional front, Akshay Kumar has three more films yet to release in 2018. One of them being Padman, starring Akshay, Sonam Kapoor, and Radhika Apte. On the other hand, Rajnikanth has another film titled Kaala coming up. The film has been produced by his son-in-law Dhanush.
