Avengers: Endgame, the final chapter from the Avengers franchise, has broken box office records in India by registering an opening day collection of Rs 53.10 crore
Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav on Friday gave a political twist to the Avengers: Endgame frenzy that has taken the country by storm. As of now, Avengers: Endgame was not just creating excitement among die-hard Marvel fans, but now the fever seems to have affected the political fraternity too.
Political parties and their chiefs are now capitalizing on the Endgame narrative giving it a popular twist to suit the Lok Sabha election season of 2019.
SP chief Akhilesh Yadav shared a post on his official Twitter handle saying, “Over the last five years, the BJP has destroyed every pillar of democracy. But the #Endgame has begun. #MahaGathbandhan Sarkar…Coming soon”. This post was tweeted against a blue background in style that is used by Marvel Studios when it introduces itself on various platforms.

As people are assembling outside theatres to watch their favourite superheroes in the final chapter of Avengers, Press Information Bureau (PIB), the publicity arm of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, also posted an image of Avengers with a message that read, “Every Avenger matters in the end game”.
The picture also shows a montage of people — some standing in line to vote and some showing an inked finger — with a line “Every vote counts in democracy”.
The caption read: “Voting determines our future. Each of us must decide for ourselves what that should look like. There is no such thing as a vote that doesn’t matter. Go vote… #ItMatters #NoVoterToBeLeftBehind.”
