‘Mission Chulbul Singham’: Salman Khan will NOT join Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe
Rohit Shetty reveals that 'Mission Chulbul Singham' will not be a part of his cop universe. It will be a standalone collaborative effort.
Ajay Devgn’s Raid has become the second highest earning Bollywood film of 2018 after Sanjay L Bhansali’s Padmaavat.
So far, 2018 has been a year where content prevailed over masala and nonsensical films and the latest to prove the theory is Devgn’s stand against in corruption in Raid.
Raid has been going strong since day one and its business has been steady with each passing day.

The film, which is loosely based on 1981 raid in Lucknow, now has the second highest earnings in the opening week, dethroning Akshay Kumar’s Pad Man.
According to trade analyst, Taran Adarsh Raid earned Rs 4.66-crore on Thursday, taking the total first week collections of the film to Rs 63.05-crore.
The film is considerably enjoying more success in the multiplexes, where strong word of mouth for the film and performances have played a strong part in driving audiences to the theatres.
If reports are to be believed then the second weekend of Raid is crucial, which will determine the film’s lifetime business as multiple releases are lined up for next week.
Apparently, Devgn’s film has already crossed the half century mark and is now eyeing to make its place among the elite Rs 100-crore club.
So far, only two films have crossed the Rs 100-crore mark in 2018 out of the 25 films. Padmaavat stands atop of the mountain with its entry in Rs 300-crore club, while Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety became a blockbuster after making its way to Rs 100-crore club.
Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid also features Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla, and was released worldwide on March 16.
