“What an amazing journey ‘Adangathey’ has been! My last day was spent with the coolest two of the movie,” she tweeted and shared a picture featuring Prakash and the director.
On signing the project, she had said she believes in quality of work and likes to go an extra mile to make her character look more real.
She said she even learnt Tamil for the film.
“Without understanding the language, she wants to give her best to the character Parveen Khan, so she learnt basic words and common paraphrases being used in Tamil locals from tutor,” Shanmugam said.
Mandira’s last appearance in a Tamil film was over a decade ago in “Manmadhan”.
