Starring Mithila Palkar, Abhay Deol and Vijay Raaz, the film tells the story of a shy girl who teams up with a conman to recover her new stolen car from a Mumbai gangster.

In Chopsticks, a Netflix original production, Mithila plays a girl who goes by the name Nirma who is a tour guide for foreign groups in Mumbai’s Dharavi.

Netflix India revealed the film’s character trailer with synopsis that said, “Shy, under-confident and new to the city, Nirma’s name isn’t the only unfortunate thing to have happened to her.”

The streaming giant also took to its official Twitter handle to share a post and a short video clip from the film, which shows Abhay Deol and Palkar in a red car with a goat in the back seat.

The post read, “When you lose your car, you never know who you’re going to find in it. Presenting the cast of #Chopsticks. P.S. A con artist, a goat and a girl named Nirma might just be the right answer.

Mithila had earlier appeared on Netflix when the streaming platform purchased the Little Things franchise in which she played the lead.

The show that had two seasons explored the journey of a 20-something cohabiting couple as they navigate through ups and downs of work, modern-day relationships and finding themselves in contemporary Mumbai.
