Actor Irrfan, who is in London for the treatment of neuroendocrine tumour, has a bumper week ahead as two of his films are releasing in different countries.
Yes, you heard it right. Irrfan’s 2017 Hindi Medium, which fetched him Best Actor award at numerous award shows, and Blackmail are scheduled to release in the same week.
While Hindi Medium is set to release in China on April 4, Blackmail will be hitting the big screen on April 6 worldwide.

It’ll be interesting to see how the two films will fare in the countries as Hindi Medium is releasing in China after the magical run of Bollywood films like Dangal, Secret Superstar and Bajrangi Bhaijaan proved that there is a much bigger market for Bollywood films in the neighbouring country.
Coming on Irrfan’s upcoming film Blackmail, the film raised all brows with the trailer and songs and fans are eagerly waiting for this dark-comedy to arrive this Friday.
Irrfan had one of the best years last year when he won the best actor award for his performance in Hindi Medium, something which has brought the film’s big release in China.
Even in his absence, Irrfan is stealing the show in real life as two of his films are scheduled to shine at the box office this Friday.
On the work front, Irrfan will resume work and commence the shooting of Vishal Bhardwaj’s untitled film opposite Deepika Padukone once he is done with his treatment overseas.
