Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer 2.0, a much-anticipated film of this year, has got big thumbs-up from the cine-goers. S Shankar’s magnum opus, which is a sequel to his Robot, is a multilingual science-fiction action drama.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter shared his review of 2.0. Calling the director a “visionary”, he called his work a “cinematic marvel”. Adarsh went on to praise the performances of the two megastars in the film. “#2Point0 is a cinematic marvel… This has style with substance… Director Shankar is a visionary… He hits the ball out of the park this time… Akshay Kumar is FANTASTIC, while Rajinikanth is THE BOSS… SALUTE!” the tweet read.

Another film trade analyst Simit Kadel applauded the film for its outstanding VFX and its message. “#2point0 is a Very Good Sci-fi Socially relevant film with OUTSTANDING vfx work . @shankarshanmugh vision is terrific, he delivers a pertinent message in a entertaining manner full of Mass & Action. @rajinikanth as CHITTI is legendary, @akshaykumar is FANTASTIC,” he wrote.
