The State has been consistently logging above 300 cases on a daily basis in the past one week.

The State clocked 382 freshactive Covid-19 cases at a high7.1 percent test positivity TPR in the last 24 hours,said officials on Monday.

This spike in death comes as daily infections have been steadily showing a downward trend, with 94,052 fresh Covid infections reported -- less than one lakh for the third straight day.
"When the water evaporates from such speech-generated, potentially virus-rich droplets, they float in the air for minutes, like smoke, thus putting others at risk."
The State Cabinet on Tuesday decided to extend the lockdown by 10 days (June 10 to June 19) but extended the relaxation period from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a grace period of another hour to enable people to reach their homes. The lockdown will be in force from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next day.
The Congress has decided to hold massive protests on June 11 across the country on all petrol pumps and will demand roll back of the prices.
On June 8, India recorded 86,498 cases, lowest since April 2 when the country logged 89,129 new cases.
