HUDCO celebrates Yoga Day, plants trees
Debesh Chakraborty, regional chief, HUDCO Kolkata regional office highlighted HUDCO’s operations throughout the nation and acknowledged the support of the state government as the key stakeholder.
Traffic will be restricted at Connaught Place in central Delhi in view of the International Yoga Day, with the innner circle, middle circle and radial roads being closed till 11 AM on Friday.
A number of events will be organised on the occasion by the Ayush Ministry. The main event will be held at Connaught Place (CP) from 6 AM to 7.40 AM on Tuesday .
Traffic on the outer circle of CP and the limited stretches of nine roads leading to it will be partially affected from 5 AM to around 9 AM, said Joint Commissioner (Traffic) of Delhi Police.

Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg, Panchkuian Road, Chelmsford Road, Minto Road, Barakhamba Road, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Janpath and Parliament Street will be affected, said the officer.
All other major roads encircling Connaught Place and adjoining areas will remain open for movement of traffic, he added.
