“The list of these ministers is with us. We will submit the list to the CBI following completion of the panchayat election. They will be hitting the jail one by one. Don’t fear these ministers,” said Mr Vijayvargia.

“Make us win in this panchayat election. Funds for development will come directly from Delhi and the panchayat will fund you to do developmental work in your panchayat” added Mr Vijayvargia to tea workers in his campaign today.

Mr Vijayvargia, on the other hand, slammed the state election commission referring it as ‘a doll in the hands of the state government.’ “The state election commission has become a doll which acts according to the wish of the state government” Mr Vijayvargia claimed.

The BJP leader then met with the family members of the BSF Jawan Sanjay Tirkey who became a martyr in Imphol in Manipur on Wednesday in his house at Mechpara tea garden under Kalchini police station in the district, it is learnt.

Meanwhile, state PWD minister, Aroop Biswas criticised the Opposition in his election campaign in Alipurduar district on Thursday claiming BJP and CPI-M of forming an ‘unethical alliance.’

“CPI-M and BJP have formed an alliance in the rural polls. People living in Bengal knows it well that the Opposition will not win any seat in the panchayat. This is an unethical alliance,” said Aroop Biswas in his speech at Rajabhatkhawa under the Kalchini police station in the district.

“What Mamata Banarjee did in this state in the last seven years BJP wont be able to do that in 700 years while CPIM which has nothing in the state now would not be able to do it in 7000 years,” added Mr Biswas.

Mr Biswas along with Kolkata Corporation, Councillor, Ananya Banarjee particiapted in a number of road shows, rallies and meetings in some parts of Alipurduar- 1, Kalchini and Madarihat- Birpara blocks in the district on Thursday.
