The Trinamul Congress did not approve of the posts and on Wednesday, Trinamul Congress secretary general, Partha Chatterjee had warned him against such posts, but the Bolpur MP continued with his controversial posts.
The latest post was related to Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji and Nathuram Godse. Hazra maintains poor relations with the TMC district president of Birbhum, Anubrata Mondal, and on several occasions criticised him.
The TMC observer of Birbhum and municipal affairs minister Firhad Hakim has also spoken to him over the issues, sources said.
Since the past two years the Bolpur MP has been commenting on his social networking site which has been allegedly embarrassing his party, sources said.
Talking to The Statesman, Hazra said he has not done any thing anti-party. “I have posted a comment on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. How can any post on Netaji become anti-party,” he asked.
Earlier, he posted comments on Anubrata Mondal in his Facebook official account. Hazra claimed he has joined the party seeing the honesty and integrity of party supremo Mamata Banerjee.
Earlier in 2016, he had been heckled by the rival fraction supporters in VBU in 2016. After which the Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Majajan sought report from the central university about the incident.
