Thousands of joyous Tibetans, Indians and foreigners thronged the Tsuglagkhang courtyard at Mcleodganj in Dharamshala on Thursday to celebrate the 82nd birth anniversary of Dalai Lama.
Former minister Kishan Kapoor, Ninong Ering, Member of Parliament from Arunachal Pradesh along with thousands of supporters was present in the function.

Kishan Kapoor expressed the Indian community’s greetings on the 82nd birthday of Dalai Lama and praised his lifelong efforts to bring peace in the world. He urged everyone to keep Dalai Lama’s messages of love and compassion in heart for a happier and contented life.
“We feel blessed that Dalai Lama has chosen Dharamshala as his abode after coming into exile. Since then, Dharamshala has become a well-known destination all over the world. Earlier, no one has heard about Dharamshala. But today, the whole world wants to come here,” he said.
