Last Saturday, it was work as usual only until late evening he parked the taxi at the Tutikandi ISBT before proceeding on leave. He was headed to catch the night bus to his home town.
He said he discovered a ladies purse on the floor of the front seat of the taxi, while he was collecting my belongings. “The purse had some cash. I was contemplating on whom to contact when my mobile rang. The caller at the other end was a lady who inquired of any purse having accidentally left behind in the taxi.”
Although unaware of the amount of cash in the purse, he told her that it was safe with him and would be able to return it to her only after he returned from his home town. After joining back duty he contacted the owner of the purse and handed it back to her.
