Bharat Sevashram sets benchmark in selfless service to devotees: CM Yogi
CM Yogi praised the Bharat Sevashram’s contributions and highlighted its century-long tradition of selfless service to society.
In a shocking incident, men brandishing swords, knives and even guns entered the Dussehra procession being lead by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister in Gorakhpur.
Yogi, who was leading a “shobha yatra” from the Gorakhnath Temple to the local Ramlila Ground on a chariot was seen surrounded by the men wearing saffron robes and turban and raising slogans of “Jai Shri Ram”.

However, the fact that men armed with guns came so close to the CM’s convoy sent the security personnel in a tizzy.
The Uttar Pradesh police personnel struggled to keep the armed men away from the CM due to the heavy rush of people even though Yogi himself appeared to be unperturbed.
Yogi had reached the temple on Tuesday and had been discharging his duties as the head priest during the festive period of Navratras and Dussehra.
