Snowfall disrupts traffic in Finland’s capital Helsinki
Freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall struck Finland's capital Helsinki, disrupting commuter traffic, tram operations, and flight schedules.
The Srinagar-Kargil road was closed for vehicular traffic on Friday due to overnight snowfall in the area.
Several other roads were also covered under a thick blanket of snow in the higher areas.
Police said that heavy snowfall was registered at Minimarg and Drass as a result of which the Srinagar—Leh road has been closed for traffic.

The Bandipura–Gurez road has also been closed for traffic because of slippery condition of the road at Razdan Pass and few other places.
The Kishtwar—Anantnag road is also shut for the past two days because of heavy snow at the Sinthan Pass. Vehicular traffic on the Moughal Road between Rajouri and Shopian in Kashmir was suspended due to snow.
