To impart technology-based education to the students, the pilot project of Hero EduTech and Smart Classes was launched in Government Senior Secondary School, Kherki Daula, Gurugram on Monday.
Under this project, 30 tablets have been provided in the computer lab for the students in which the syllabus of classes from first to 8th has been installed.
While stating this on Monday, an official spokesman said that this project which has been approved by State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) would initially be run for three years and it would be reviewed from time to time.
On the success of this pilot project in Gurugram, it would be replicated in other districts also. The spokesman said that to successfully run this project, the principals and teachers of government schools have been imparted training in State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT).
He said that project would be monitored by SCERT and the team of Saksham Haryana so that necessary reforms could be taken in the project as and when required.
The spokesman said that the schools in which tab lab would be set up included Government Senior Secondary School Jamalpur, Government Senior Secondary School Mankdola, Government Girls Secondary School Samaspur, Government Secondary School Kheri Daula, Government High School Sikandarpur Badha, Government Secondary School Badha, Government Senior Secondary School Pathredi, Government Senior Secondary School Akera (Rewari).
He said that similarly the schools of district Gurugram, in which smart classes would be introduced included Government Senior Secondary School Vazirabad, Government Senior Secondary School Islampur, Government Senior Secondary School Chakarpur and Government Senior Secondary School Bhimgadkheri
