With no letup in incidents of landslides in Himachal Pradesh, yet another huge landslide on Friday, has blocked the flow of river Chenab near Nalda village in Lahaul-Spiti district.
While no loss of life and property has been reported so far, however there is looming threat to the human settlement downstream, as a natural dam has been created due to the collection of water.
Amid fears of flooding owing to the sudden burst of the natural dam, the people living along the banks of Chenab river downstream have been moved to safer places.
